I am a medium sized fast growing rounded native shrub usually producing spectacular deep purple silken-petaled flowers usually from early spring to late autumn however I will flower all year in the right conditions! I respond well to regular pruning and make a great colourful native hedge. I do best in full sun but am tolerant of a range of soils provided they are well drained. My flowers attract bees and beneficial insects. My flowers are edible, a great way to add colour when garnishing a salad.
