I am Bush Ballad Kangaroo Paw. My family originated from South Western Australia
| I am one of the most prolific flowering of all kangaroo paws. What is more I flower year round!
My smaller habit and bright red flowers are great in pots and planters making me useful for landscaping paved areas. I make a dramatic statement either as a feature plant in the garden and for larger landscaping. My blooms attract nectar feeding birds such as spinebills and honeyeaters. I am a long lived cut flower to be enjoyed indoors. Remove spent flower stems at ground level as well as any blackened leaves. Feed me with a good native or general purpose fertiliser in the warm months, being sure to water in well. |
