I am Bush Crystal Kangaroo Paw. My family originated from South Western Australia
| I am a medium sized kangaroo paw, producing a spectacular display of crimson pink flowers with branched stems though spring and summer.
My arched deep green foliage contrasts beautifully with my brightly coloured flowers. I am long lived as a cut flower to be enjoyed indoors. I am excellent at attracting small nectar feeding birds to the garden. I am happiest in a sunny spot but tolerate light shade. Remove my spent blooms at the base of the stem to maintain my tidy appearance. Once a year removal of older and damaged leaves by simply pulling them away from the plant also improves my tidiness. |
