I am New Zealand Rock Lily. My family originated from New Zealand
| I am a lush looking but tough clumping perennial with sprays of small white star shaped flowers from late spring through summer. My broad lily like arching leaves are blue green in colour.
While I perform well in full sun I am a great choice for dry shady locations and underplantings where many plants fail. I come from New Zealand where I may once have been farmed and used for medicine as well as food. I have strong symbolic importance in traditional Maori culture. I require minimal water once established. |
