I am a hardy evergreen, scrambling and slightly woody plant. I have upright or trailing branches with fine lime green foliage creating a “tail” leading to my common name. I work well as indoor plant and in hanging baskets. My white flowers are fairly insignificant appearing for a few weeks in summer and these are followed by small berries which are bright red when mature. While I tolerate full sun I am hardy and adaptable still perform well in heavy shade.
