**Shrub/Herb – Large Flowers**
I am a smaller growing banksia, a hybrid between hardy east coast Heath Banksia and Hairpin Banksia bringing together the best attributes of each. I am a shrub with fine linear bright green leaves and produce spectacular cylindrical orange to red flower cones from yellow buds from autumn through winter. My dense habit provides excellent habitat for birds and makes me a good hedging and screening option. I enjoy well drained soils. I can be pruned to shape if required or cut back hard to regenerate. My flowers are rich in nectar attracting birds and beneficial insects alike.
