Natures Nectar®
Banksia Red Dawn 200MM
Banksia ‘Red Dawn’ – 200MM
(Not currently available to be ordered)
I am Red Dawn Cut Leaf Banksia. My family originated from South Western Australia
| I am a stunning native Banksia. Hardy and adaptable, I produce vibrant large showy deep red flower cones tinged with bright yellow at the extremities in winter and spring.
My blooms are a magnet for nectar feeding birds. My hardy nature and dense form suit me to screening, eco-friendly hedges and wind breaks. I thrive in a variety of well drained soils and climate zones. I find an application of a quality slow release native (low phosphorous) fertiliser applied in spring beneficial. Hardy, I tolerate moderate frost, dry periods, alkaline soils and coastal conditions. |
