Boronia Flamingo 140MM

Boronia ‘Flamingo’ – 140MM

(Not currently available to be ordered)

I am Boronia Flamingo. My family originated from Western Australia

Botanic Name: Boronia pulchella x B. heterophylla ‘Stella’ ‘Flamingo’

Shrub/Herb – I smell great!

I am a small to medium upright, evergreen shrub with long, narrow, aromatic leaves. I become completely covered with masses of pink bell shaped flowers from late winter to spring. As my flowers age they fade to white.

Bred by Kings Park and Botanic Garden, I am hardy and tolerant of most soils and conditions but prefer a free draining neutral to acidic soil rich in organic matter.

I enjoy a well-lit position protected from the hot afternoon sun and will perform better with consistent moisture particularly during dry spells.

I am moderately frost tolerant.

Give me a light prune after I finish flowering to maintain my attractive shape.

Full Sun to Part Shade (4+ hours of direct sun)
Height: 1m Width: 1m
I need moderate water once established and do best with regular moisture
