I am Pinnacle Pink Wax Flower. My family originated from South Western Australia
| I feature dense upright branches that become covered in a profusion of glossy red buds during winter opening to delightful pink flowers during spring.
Commonly known as Wax Flower, I am a stunning native shrub. Happy in most free draining soils I enjoy a sunny aspect but tolerate lightly shaded locations. I have a naturally dense from with fine needle like bright green foliage. My blooms are long lived when cut making me very popular as a cut flower particularly as a filler in floral arrangements. I am low maintenance but will benefit from a prune to shape after I finish flowering and an application of a native slow release fertiliser as the weather warms in spring. I am drought tolerant once established and cope well with coastal conditions. |
