I am Sorbetto Wax Flower. My family originated from South Western Australia

Botanic Name: Chamelaucium uncinatum ‘Sorbetto’(PBR)

Shrub/Herb – Prolific pink blooms

Known as a ‘Wax Flower’ I am a stunning flowering native shrub with my masses of pink blooms emerging in mid spring.

Happy in most free draining soils I enjoy a sunny aspect but tolerate lightly shaded locations.

I have a naturally compact rounded form with fine needle like bright green foliage making me perfect for both pots and in small gardens.

My blooms are long lived when cut making me very popular as a cut flower particularly as a filler in floral arrangements.

I am low maintenance but will benefit from a prune to shape after I finish flowering and an application of a native slow-release fertiliser as the weather warms in spring.

I am drought tolerant once established and cope well with coastal conditions.

Full Sun to Part Shade (4+ hours of direct sun)
