I am Lime Sublime. My family originated from Souith Asia
| I am an improved form of citrus aurantifolia that reliably fruits with thin skinned fragrant and juicy limes. I fruit year round but more prolifically in autumn and spring.
Growing as a compact attractive small tree to just 1.5 metres container planted and up to 3m in the garden with naturally good form. I have glossy dark green leaves and have strongly scented small white blooms with precede my fruit. I am perfect to be grown in a large port or other planter. I am a very productive potted plant. However I am adaptable just as happy growing on a sunny balcony, patio as I am garden planted. I am the lime of choice for cooler climates. Unlike many limes I am virtually thornless. Plant me in a sunny position in free draining soil or a quality citrus potting mix. Protect me from heavy frosts. Fertilise annually with a long-term slow release citrus fertiliser. |
