I am Bleeding Heart Vine. My family originated from West Africa
| I am a stunning and unusual climbing shrub with a twining habit.
I have large glossy heart-shaped leaves and dramatic pure white, bell-shaped flowers with blood red tops/calyxes in large clusters. My flowers turn pink to lavender as they age. I usually bloom in the warmer months but can bloom year round in the right conditions. I like to be kept consistently moist, particularly when grown in full sun. I am suited to growing indoors. I benefit from a tidy up trim to maintain a good shape before my new growth starts in spring. |
