I am Correa Redex. My family originated from Coastal NSW

Botanic Name: Correa decumbens ‘Redex’

Bushy – Bird Attracting

I am a compact Correa with small, glossy round leaves and yellow and red bell shaped, bird attracting flowers from mid-winter to summer.

Originally from Kangaroo Island this I am a naturally occurring cultivar.

I am hardy and tolerant of a range of soils and conditions. I am a good choice for exposed locations and dry soils provided I receive adequate moisture until I am established.

Small nectar feeding blooms are attracted to my blooms.

I perform well in most soils but do best in those that are well-drained

I produce masses of red and yellow tubular flowers throughout summer and autumn

Tips for success…

I prefer a low phosphorous fertiliser and benefit from a light trim after flowering
