| Elaeagnus can be deciduous or evergreen shrubs or small trees, with simple, often silvery-scaled leaves, and small fragrant white tubular flowers born in clusters in the leaf axils during autumn, and followed by edible small juicy fruit in spring. Ideal as a fast growing medium sized hedge. |
