I am Fig Black Genoa. My family originated from the Mediterranean and western Asia
| I am a fig tree that produces high numbers of large sweet juicy fruit twice per year in summer and mid-autumn in most climates.
As a medium sized deciduous tree I can be planted in the garden or in a large container. I have a beautiful spreading habit and double as an ornamental shade tree. My abundant fruit is delicious with deep purple-black skin and vibrant red flesh. I am an elegant plant with large lush leaves, palmate in shape and medium to light green in colour. I enjoy a warm sunny position where I will grow quickly. Prune me to shape in winter. |
