I am Moonlight Grevillea. My family originated from Australia
| Not only do I flower prolifically all year my blooms are large (100 to 150mm long!) and showy.
I am a native large shrub to small tree. I am an absolute magnet for nectar feeding birds, bees and beneficial insects for which I am a year round food source. Fast growing with deeply divided large leaves and dense form I am a great wildlife friendly screening option. I can be pruned to shape as I grow. Trimming off groups of spent flowers will improve my appearance and encourage even more blooms. I am tough and adaptable performing well in exposed locations. I prefer a well-drained soil and should be fed with a native (low phosphorous) fertiliser. Mature specimens regrow promptly after a cut back hard facilitating reshaping. I am one of the best performing large blooming grevilleas! |
