I am Hardenbergia Happy Wanderer. My family originated from Eastern Australia
| I am a hardy native climber that originates from the south and east of Australia.
I am characterised by tidy deep green shield shaped leaves and clusters of vibrant deep purple delicate pea flowers in spring. Moderately vigorous I will climb a trellis or other structure if provided making me a great choice to add screening to a trellis, wires and open forms of fencing. On flat ground without a support or flowing over a retaining wall I take the form of a well behaved ground cover. Both my leaves and flowers are edible and can be used brewed into a tea or as a garnish. |
