I am Merlot Winter Rose. My family originated from Alpine Europe
| I am a hardy Winter Rose selected through years of selective cross breeding. I produce stunning deep merlot coloured blooms with contrasting bright yellow stamens. My bright blooms are a standout feature in the garden. My blooms are prolific and sit above rich deep green foliage also on red stems to great effect. I am a hardy long lived evergreen perennial. With my naturally rounded form I work well in shaded areas of the garden year-round. I am a good choice for pots and general container planting to brighten up a shaded balcony or paved areas. Low maintenance I am tolerant of dry conditions and light frosts. |
