(Not currently available to be ordered)

I am Candy Cones Conebush. My family originated from South Western Australia

Botanic Name: Isopogon formosus ‘CandyCones’(PBR)

Upright – Bird and bee attracting

I feature unusual large mauve to pink cone flowers surrounded by frilly stamens which stand out brilliantly by my elegant dark green foliage. My flowers are striking and long lived creating a long lasting display.

An Australian Native I am popular in native and dry tolerant gardens where I make a great feature. Hardy I am a good choice for coastal gardens and exposed locations.

I am generally very low maintenance but dead heading of spent blooms will add to my vigour and improve bushiness.

I perform well most neutral to acidic free draining soils and quality potting mixes. I benefit from a feed in spring with a quality slow release native fertiliser particularly if container grown.

I make a great cut flower.
