Kangaroo Paw (Red Orange) ‘Anigozanthos Bush Surprise’ – 180MM

(Not currently available to be ordered)

I am Bush Surprise Kangaroo Paw. My family originated from South Western Australia

Botanic Name: Anigozanthos x hybrid ‘Ramboprise’(PBR)

Strappy/Grasses – Bird attracting

I am a smaller naturally compact Kangaroo Paw producing stunning orange to red flowers which are even brighter when I am grown in full sun.

I appreciate good drainage and will perform at my best with an annual application of quality slow release fertiliser applied in spring. I tolerate dry conditions but will perform at my best with consistent moisture.

Relatively tough I am a good choice for exposed locations

Remove my spent blooms at the base to maintain a tidy appearance.

I was bred for toughness and general landscape conditions. My drought and frost tolerance is very high relative to many other Kangaroo Paws. I am highly resistant to black spot which also affects many other Kangaroo Paws.

I create stunning impact mass planted with 4 to 6 plants per square metre.

As a cut flower I am long lived in a vase when being enjoyed indoors.
