I am White Wave Tea Tree. My family originated from Australia
Botanic Name: Leptospermum laevigatum ‘White Wave’
I am White Wave Tea Tree. My family originated from Australia
| I am a low growing form of Coastal Tea tree with a flowing cascading habit, a sea of white when I flower in spring.
I am a tough native plant with grey-green foliage and bronze coloured new growth. I am a great new alternative as a hedge or informal screen plant for difficult conditions, such as coastal areas and exposed locations. I thrive in conditions that would kill many alternative hedge plant options. I am a great native alternative to English and Euonymus box hedges. I am drought tolerant but should be watered in well during the first couple of months after planting. My cascading means I work well over retaining walls, planted in containers for small spaces such as patios and courtyards. |
