I am Billy Buttons. My family originated from eastern Australia
| I produce unique and amazing golden globe flowers on tall and stout stalks throughout spring and summer.
I am a perennial plant growing from an underground rhizome to form a clump of silvery grey woolly leaves from which my upright flowering spikes arise. My blooms are superb cut flowers and for drying. I am drought tolerant but will perform at my best in moist and well drained soils with a sunny to partially shaded aspect. I am frost hardy and can be used in coastal gardens and for heavy soils. |
