I am Miniature Lambs Ears. My family originated from Southeastern Europe and Western Asia

**Shrub/Herb – I am soft!**
I am a smaller growing “Lamb’s Ears” with a spreading mat-forming habit. I have soft woolly, silver grey foliage which resemble lamb’s ears from which my common name is derived. From late spring I produce numerous very hairy upright flower spikes with petite pink-purple blooms that attract bees and beneficial insects. My habit is sufficiently dense that I will outcompete weeds. My silvery colour and soft hairy foliage is an adaption to the hot dry climates from where I originate. Drought tolerant I am perfectly suited to exposed locations with a hot aspect. I enjoy good drainage and may not thrive in damp locations. I am excellent in borders and general planting. Young children love the soft felt-like feel of my foliage..
