I am a lovely succulent plant that can be a great addition to your garden. My scientific name “Sempervivum” means “always living” and “Houseleek” comes from my traditional use of growing on roofs to protect the home from lightning strikes. I am a very tough plant and can survive in almost any climate, from hot and dry to cold and snowy. My leaves grow in a rosette shape, which helps me to collect and retain water, making me perfect for drought-prone areas. I come in a variety of colors, from deep green to shades of red, brown, and even pink. I am easy to care for and require minimal attention. Plant me in well-draining soil and make sure to water me deeply once a week. I thrive in full sun but can also tolerate partial shade. In the summer, I produce beautiful star-shaped flowers on tall stems that attract bees and butterflies to your garden. I am a great choice for rock gardens, container gardens, and as a ground cover. I am also an excellent plant for beginners as I am low-maintenance and hardy. So, if you are looking for a plant that is both beautiful and easy to care for, I am the perfect choice for your garden.
