I am Syzygium Cheeky Little Red. My family originated from Eastern Australia
| I am a compact form of the native Syzygium australe with large glossy dark green mature foliage contrasting with deep burgundy new growth.
I am ideal for hedging and screening whether left informal or clipped to a tight formal hedge. I also perfect for container plantings. Due to my small size, I am a great choice for narrow spaces. I am wildlife friendly and will attract birds to our garden. I am hardy being frost, dry and coastal-tolerant, as well as having excellent pest resistance. I require little water once established, but will benefit from occasional deep watering during extended periods of heat. |
