Pot plan for Escallonia exoniensis 'fradesii' nana 'Pink Pixi'
Growing Escallonia Pink Pixi in a pot
A pot can suit me: container growing is one of my known uses. Performance will still depend on pot size, drainage, position and local weather.
Choose and prepare the pot
- Use a stable container with generous drainage holes and enough room for the roots to develop.
- Use a quality potting mix suited to this plant—not garden soil.
- Position the pot for Full Sun to Part Shade and make sure excess water can drain freely.
- Plant at the same depth as in the nursery pot, then water thoroughly.
Help me establish
Check moisture at root depth, especially in heat and wind, and follow my known water need: medium.
