I am Orange Crush Lilly Pilly. My family originated from Eastern Australia.

I am a native Lilly Pilly with amazing bright orange new growth. Fast growing and compact with an upright habit I make the ideal low maintenance hedge. I can be pruned to formal shapes and even used for topiary if desired but have naturally good form unpruned. My fluffy white flowers in spring are followed by purple berries. Both my flowers and berries attract native wildlife for which I am an important food source and habitat. I am a fire retardant plant.

With my dense habit and response to pruning I am well suited to being a colourful screening hedge

I produce white flowers during summer which are followed by dark red berries

Water needs: MediumI tolerate dry spells once established but perform at my best with regular moisture

I perform well in most soils but do best in those that are fertile and free draining or premium potting mix
