Aloe 140MM

Aloe Assorted

I am Aloe. My family originated from Africa and the Middle east.

Habit Shrub - Indoor or Outdoor

Plant family Asphodelaceae

I am a range of succulent plants that are remarkably adaptable with the ability to thrive in a broad range of environments. All my forms share a love for sunlight, well-drained soil, and occasional watering. Most of my varieties produce bird attracting clusters of brightly coloured flowers on stems standing upright above my foliage in shades of yellow orange or red. Various varieties are favoured for their medicinal qualities, architectural beauty, or intriguing foliage display. If you embrace my many forms the world of aloes will bring a touch of desert charm and natural elegance to your gardening endeavours.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

I am a favourite for my architectural form and ease of care

I am a low maintenance plant, that resists extreme heat and tolerates harsh dry conditions
