Sunny Days Federation Daisy 200MM

Argyranthemum frutescens 'Sunny Days'

I am Sunny Days Federation Daisy. My family originated from Canary Islands.

Habit Shrub - Super Sized Flowers

Plant family Asteraceae

Part of the "Super Size" series of Federation Daisies I am a neat compact vigorous daisy bearing large flowers, up to 5cm in diameter, with lemon petals surrounding a bright yellow centre from spring to autumn. I have a naturally rounded habit but will benefit with a bit of a tidy up post flowering. (Don’t cut into the older woody branches.) This also encourages repeat blooming. I have been specially bred to perform well in Australian conditions. I tolerate brief dry spells once established but benefit from regular moisture particularly during bud formation. My mounding form makes me idea in borders, general garden planting and cottage gardens. I am great in pots.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

I produce masses of large blooms with lemon petals around a bright yellow centre in early spring through summer

Adaptable I am just as happy growing in a pot or other container as I am planted out in the garden

I am highly tolerant of extreme weather conditions and have excellent disease resistance
