Brown Boronia 140MM

Boronia megastigma 'Heaven Scent'

I am Brown Boronia. My family originated from Western Australia.

Habit Shrub - Fragrant Flowers
Plant family Rutaceae
I am a small compact evergreen shrub with fine aromatic green foliage and hanging cup shaped flowers. My uniquely perfumed flowers in spring are brownish purple to yellow-green outside and yellow-green inside. I make a great cut flower where my heavenly scent will not go unnoticed. I tolerate a range of soils but do best where I can have a cool undisturbed root run.
I am popular and will make you happy because...
My flowers in spring have a delightful heady and unique fragrance and may be cut to be enjoyed indoors
My profuse blooms brownish-purple on the outside with bright yellow insidde appearing in late winter to spring
Compact I am well suited to native gardens, rockeries and makes me a great choice for pots
