Callistemon Endeavour 200MM

Callistemon citrinus 'Endeavour'

I am Callistemon Endeavour. My family originated from South Eastern Australia.

Habit Shrub - Bird and bee attracting
Plant family Myrtaceae
I am a fast growing native shrub with broad green leaves with a profusion of the reddest of red bird attracting bottlebrush flower spikes on stiff upright or horizontal stems. I am a great choice for a hedging and screening or as a feature shrub. I can be trimmed to shape and size if desired but will develop a beautiful upright shape unpruned. Hardy and adaptable I happily tolerate light frost and dry conditions while still being a good choice for heavy soils that are occasionally waterlogged. I am a great Australian native plant.
I am popular and will make you happy because...
My prolific stunning red blooms are borne on the end of upright stems from spring into summer
Naturally compact and fast growing I am a good choice for a native hedge
I am suitable for native or coastal garden, providing food and shelter to native birds and insects
