Kings Park Special Bottlebrush 200MM

Callistemon 'Kings Park Special'

I am Kings Park Special Bottlebrush. My family originated from Australia.

Habit Shrub - Bird and bee attracting
Plant family Myrtaceae
I am Kings Park Special Bottlebrush, an Australian native with red bottlebrush flowers in spring, summer and autumn. My flowers attract nectar-feeding birds and other native wildlife. My dense form and quick growth make me suitable for screening hedges. I grow to 3m high and wide and thrive in full sun to part shade. I need minimal water once established and suit coastal planting and most soils, including those that are occasionally waterlogged. Remove spent flower brushes to help keep me bushy and encourage more flowers. Plant me 2m apart.
I am popular and will make you happy because...
My prolific and stunning blooms are the reddest of reds appearing in spring, summer and autumn
I am a magnet for nectar feeding birds and other native wildlife
