Corydalis 'Porcelain Blue' 180MM

Corydalis flexuosa 'Porcelain Blue'

I am Corydalis 'Porcelain Blue'. My family originated from China.

Habit Shrub - I Thrive in Shade

Plant family Papaveraceae

I feature incredibly intense aqua-blue, lightly fragrant flowers which are set against blue green deeply divided foliage. I flower from autumn through to spring. My flowers are a magnet for bees and other beneficial garden insects. I naturally develop into a rounded mound that looks elegant year round. Hardy I am a good choice for shady locations and to brighten darker corners. I make a great potted specimen and my flowers can be cut to be enjoyed indoors.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

My vibrant porcelain blue flowers stand out against my lush blue-green foliage in autumn, winter and spring

My stiff clumping habit is well suited to cottage style gardens. I am a good choice for under planting

I am just as happy growing in pots and containers as I am planted out in the garden
