White False Heather 140MM

Cuphea hyssopifolia alba

I am White False Heather. My family originated from Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras.

Habit Shrub - Long flowering

Plant family Lythraceae

I am a white flowering form of Mexican Heather with pretty, dark green foliage. My delicate small blooms are abundant and most prolific in summer but present all year. My mounding, semi-trailing growth habit and colourful blooms make me a great choice baskets and containers or planting out in the garden. While my blooms appear delicate I am hardy and tolerate heat and dry conditions where I still end up looking lush. My blooms attract butterflies, bees and other beneficial insects.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

I am ideal in borders, mass planted and a good choice for pots and other containers

I produce masses of small white blooms for most of the year but more prolifically during summer

I attract butterflies, bees and beneficial insects
