Eremophila Silver Ball 140MM

Eremophila glabra 'Silver Ball'

I am Eremophila Silver Ball. My family originated from Australia.

Habit Shrub - Bird attracting
Plant family Scrophulariaceae
I am a hardy and compact Australian native shrub that produces pretty yellow tubular flowers from autumn to spring. My blooms will attract small nectar-loving birds to your garden. Use my silvery foliage to create contrast against other plants. I am ideal for multiple settings including in coastal conditions, as a low informal hedge, in a container, or in a wildlife habitat garden. I prefer a position in full sun in well drained soil. I need little maintenance but will benefit from a light trim and a small amount of slow-release native fertiliser once a year.
I am popular and will make you happy because...
I am a dense ground covering Emu Bush with silvery blue foliage
I produce yellow nectar feeding bird attracting flowers during winter
Once established I am hardy tolerating both dry conditions & light frosts
