I am Eucalyptus Purple Patch. My family originated from South Australia.

I am a small upright native tree with an elegant form, clear trunk and semi weeping foliage. My blooms during winter and spring are an intense deep purple attracting bees and all manner of beneficial insects. My compact size makes me ideal for suburban gardens. Hardy I am suited to exposed locations and for use as a windbreak. I make a stunning small feature tree.

Tips for success

I tolerate frost and dry conditions. I will benefit from regular native fertiliser when young

Suggested spacing: 2m apart.

Plant 1.5 metres apart to create a screening hedge or windbreak

Full Sun to Part Shade (4+ hours of direct sun)

Once established, check soil moisture and water during extended dry periods.
