Gastrolobium Lemon Drops 140MM

Gastrolobium sericeum 'Lemon Drops'

I am Gastrolobium Lemon Drops. My family originated from Western Australia.

Habit Shrub - Compact Form

Plant family Fabaceae

I am a low growing native shrub with grey-green foliage and dainty lemon yellow pea flowers in late spring. My beautiful blooms that are produced in spring will attract nectar-feeding birds into the garden. I am ideal for planting in native gardens, habitat gardens, coastal gardens, planted alongside edges, in rockeries and in decorative containers. Hardy I am drought tolerant and can tolerate some frost, but dislike humidity. I prefer a position in full sun to part shade in well drained soil. Give me a light prune after flowering to keep me looking tidy.

Caution: May be harmful if eaten by humans and non-native animals
