Grevillea alpina x rosmarinifolia 'Gold Rush'

I am Grevillea Gold Rush. My family originated from Australia.

Habit Shrub - Bird and bee attracting
Plant family Proteaceae
I am a beautiful medium sized evergreen shrub with a profusion of bright yellow flowers, highlighted with an orange style, in spring and summer. I am a naturally occurring hybrid originating in the goldfield districts of central Victoria. I attract small nectar feeding birds for which I am important food source and provide habitat. Hardy, I am an excellent choice for garden beds, rockeries and in containers. I have a naturally rounded form but can be lightly trimmed to shape after flowering to promote a more compact habit.
Caution: Skin irritant
I am popular and will make you happy because...
I attract honey eaters, spinebills and other small birds for which I provide food and habitat

I am ideal for rockeries, general landscaping and am great grown in pots and containers
