Grevillea Peaches and Cream 200MM

Grevillea x hybrida 'Peaches and Cream'

I am Grevillea Peaches and Cream. My family originated from Australia.

Habit Shrub - Attracts Wildlife
Plant family Proteaceae
I am a popular Australian native with bi-coloured, toothbrush, cream and pink blooms that display an attractive peach colour when mature. Birds love my flowers that are displayed for much of the year because they are rich in nectar. My bright green foliage is dense making me suitable as a wildlife attracting hedge. I also make an excellent feature plant in courtyards, shrubberies, and in native and waterwise gardens. Plant me in a sunny position or in part shade. I am suitable for cold temperate to sub-tropical climates and prefer humus-rich, moist but well drained clay loam or sandy soil with neutral to acid pH. To keep me looking my best, trim me as required and feed me with low phosphorus native fertiliser in early spring or late summer.
Caution: Skin irritant
I am popular and will make you happy because...
My cream and pink bi-coloured flowers can be enjoyed for much of the year
My blooms are a magnet for nectar feeding birds, beneficial insects and other wildlife
My dense habit and response to pruning suit me to being a wildlife attracting hedge
