Hebe Wiri image 200MM

Hebe x hybrid 'Wiri Image'

I am Hebe Wiri image. My family originated from New Zealand.

Habit Shrub - Long flowering window

Plant family Plantaginaceae

I am a hardy, low maintenance and long flowering Hebe producing mauve flowers in summer and tending to very pale mauve through autumn. My foliage is compact and a mid-green. Being taller than I am wide my form is more upright than many Hebes making me a good choice for low maintenance low hedges either informal or trimmed to a formal style. Plant me at 50cm spacings if a tight compact hedge is desired.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

I produce purple blooms that fade to mauve in summer and autumn on compact green foliage

I am ideal for general garden planting, landscape use, hedging and in pots and containers

Hardy I am ideal for coastal planting, exposed locations and windy areas
