Ice 'N' Roses Barolo Winter Rose 180MM

Helleborus x glandorfensis 'Ice 'N' Roses' Barolo

I am Ice 'N' Roses Barolo Winter Rose. My family originated from Alpine Europe.

Habit Shrub - Garnet Red Blooms

Plant family Ranunculaceae

I flower from winter through to spring with showy garnet-coloured blooms that sit above rich deep green foliage. I am a long lived evergreen perennial. I naturally have a rounded form and work well in shaded areas of the garden year round. I am a good choice for pots and general container planting to brighten up a shaded balcony or paved areas. I am low maintenance and am tolerant of dry conditions and light frosts.

Caution: Harmful if eaten/skin irritant

I am popular and will make you happy because...

From winter into spring my showy garnet red blooms hold their colour over a long period

My blooms can be enjoyed indoors either on my stems or floating in water

I tolerate dry conditions and am frost hardy
