Snake Vine 200MM

Hibbertia scandens

I am Snake Vine. My family originated from New South Wales and Queensland.

Habit Climber - Bright Yellow Flowers
Plant family Dilleniaceae
Known as a 'Snake Vine' or 'Guinea Vine' I am an attractive Australian native climber, which can also double as a ground cover. I produce large yellow flowers in late spring to summer that contrast beautifully with my lush green foliage. I am vigorous and am perfect for growing over wire fences and trellises, as well as filling wide open spaces when used as a groundcover. I am low maintenance and only need an occasional trim to keep me confined to my desired location. Hardy I can be grown in a large number of soil types, including sandy and saline soils.
I am popular and will make you happy because...
