Leucospermum Blooming Orange™ 180MM

Leucospermum erubescens 'Blooming Orange™'

I am Leucospermum Blooming Orange™. My family originated from South Africa.

Habit Shrub - Vibrant Orange Flowers

Plant family Proteaceae

I am a vibrant, upright, medium evergreen shrub with attractive, orange pincushion flowers that bloom in spring through to summer. My beautiful blooms are also attractive to nectar-loving birds and bees. I am ideal for low maintenance, low water use gardens, in rockeries, and as a spectacular specimen plant. I prefer a full to light shade position in well drained, acidic soil. I require occasional watering during the hot dry season. To keep me looking my best, remove spent flowers and give me a tip prune as required. Mulch me well and apply a slow-release low-phosphorus fertiliser annually.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

I produce vibrant orange pincushion flowers in spring to summer

My flowers may be cut for indoor use

I am a magnet for nectar-loving birds and bees
