Blue Ridge™ Lomandra 140MM

Lomandra glauca 'Blue Ridge™'

I am Blue Ridge™ Lomandra. My family originated from Australia.

Habit Strappy - Design Edge®

Plant family Asparagaceae

I am a tufting native plant with distinctive strappy upright powdery-blue new foliage. My foliage becomes greener as I mature creating interesting contrast. I am low maintenance and super tough. Well suited to Australian climates I tolerate both dry conditions and frost. Adaptable I am a solid performer in most soils and quite happy in heavy clay. My cream cylindrical flowers appear in spring. My blue colour and architectural form makes a very popular landscaping plant popular in borders, rockeries, feature and public plantings.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

My new leaves appear powdery blue and darken to green as they mature

Plant me in a pot or mass plant me in the garden for dramatic effect

I am both frost and drought tolerant
