I am a pink flowering form of the hardy native ground cover with bright green foliage held close to the stem and small pink flowers in summer. I am very hardy and can tolerate light foot traffic when used as a lawn substitute. Adaptable I am a good choice for cascading over pots and retaining walls. I work well in rockeries and on slopes where I will carpet the ground and can outcompete weeds and limit erosion. I do best in full sun but still perform ok in heavy shade. I need minimal water once established. I am tolerant of most soil types as long as it is moist and well drained. I need little maintenance but benefit from a prune after flowering to keep me looking neat.
