Penstemon Harlequin Assorted 180MM

I am a compact, tidy penstemon with lush green leaves and large bell shaped blooms in pink, red or magenta. I flower from late spring through summer and into autumn. I bring months of colour to sunny spots with very little fuss. My uniform habit is perfect for small borders and general garden landscaping, and I am just as happy in a decorative pot or container. My flowers attract bees, butterflies and other pollinators, turning a plain border into a lively garden. I am easy to care for. I like full sun and free draining soil, and once I am established I need very little water. Fertilise me once a year with a long term slow release fertiliser, and prune off spent flowers as needed to keep my shape and encourage repeat blooming. Plant a few of each colour together and picture a sunny border buzzing all summer.
