Pittosporum Golf Ball 180MM

Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Golf Ball'

I am Pittosporum Golf Ball. My family originated from New Zealand.

Habit Shrub - Naturally Ball Shaped

Plant family Pittosporaceae

I am a very compact, neat, round shrub as my self-branching habit naturally develops a spherical shape without the need for pruning. If you want a low hedge for a border which needs no maintenance plant a row of me 40cm to 50cm apart. I also work well in a pot and can be used to add greenery to paved areas and balconies. Hardy and adaptable I thrive in most free draining soils.

I am popular and will make you happy because...

I am a compact bush with a naturally round form perfect for pots, along pathways and in borders

My abundance of small silvery-green foliage is low maintenance rarely needing pruning

I am frost and dry tolerant and I grow in most soil types and conditions
