Round-leaf Mint-Bush 140MM

I am an easy-going Australian native prized for my rounded, aromatic leaves and my generous show of purple blooms each spring. Brush past me or crush a leaf and I release a fresh minty scent. I bring months of colour to mixed shrubberies, garden borders and general plantings, and I am equally happy growing in a large pot on a sunny patio. Plant me where you can enjoy both my flowers and my fragrance up close, along a path, near a seating area, or dotted through a native garden bed. Once established I take periods of dryness in my stride, though I do appreciate a moist, well-drained soil and a sheltered spot away from harsh winds and heavy frost. A light trim after flowering keeps me neat and encourages fresh new growth.
