Scaevola Purple Fusion 140MM

Scaevola humilis 'PFS100' 'Purple Fusion™' PBR

I am Scaevola Purple Fusion. My family originated from Eastern Australia.

Habit Groundcover - Flowers all year
Plant family Goodeniaceae
I am a native low growing ground cover that produces purple fan-shaped flowers all year but most prolifically in spring and early summer. My blooms have petals on one side only leading to my common name "Fan Flower". I grow much flatter than other Scaevola forms and am perfect as a groundcover to fill spaces in native and cottage gardens. Hardy I am more drought tolerant than Scaevola aemula, so I am more suited for no irrigation areas. I can also handle hot, dry summers as well as cold down to -4°C. I need little maintenance, but a trim once a year will keep me looking tidy.
I am popular and will make you happy because...
I flower all year round with my heaviest flowering period from spring to early summer
I am perfect to carpet areas in native and cottage gardens
Hardy I am both drought and cold tolerant
