Lamb's Ears 'Big Ears' 140MM

I am a spreading mat-forming perennial herb with large soft woolly, silver grey foliage which resemble lambs ears from which my common name is derived. Young children love the soft felt like feel of my foliage. My variety rarely flowers with my foliage being the showstopper. My habit is sufficiently dense that it will outcompete weeds. I am excellent in borders, mass plantings and cottage gardens. I grow in full sun to part shade, but will become more dense in full sun. I tolerate a large variety of soils, including poor soils, but require it to be well-drained. I require little water once established, but will benefit from supplementary watering. To keep me looking at my best, remove any dead or damaged growth as needed.
